Basis of the treatment
Diagnosis of erectile dysfunction
Every patient with erectile dysfunction requires careful basic diagnostics. In addition to a specific questioning about sexual behavior, medication, stimulants and addictive substances, important blood values are determined – in particular the male sex hormone testosterone.
What are Spark Waves®?
Spark Waves® are particularly effective shock waves that have been used for more than 30 years successful in lithotripsy (kidney stone fragmentation) and for more than 20 years can be used for orthopaedic indications. The therapy is non-invasive, safe, effective and free of side effects.
How do Spark Waves® work for urogenital indications?

Applications of shock wave therapy
Erektile Dysfunktion (ED)

Chronisches Beckenschmerzsyndrom (CPPS)
Patients with chronic prostatitis or pelvic pain syndrome benefit from the pain-relieving and muscle-relaxing effect of shock waves. The treatment can reduce inflammation and significantly improve quality of life.
Penisverkrümmungen (Induratio penis plastica)
In the case of induratio penis plastica (IPP), shock waves can break up hardened tissue and alleviate the pain symptoms. The therapy is particularly recommended in the acute phase of the disease.
